MONUMENTAL VISION brings the work of Medina Kasimova and Ariadna Canaan into the public space of Nashville, Tennessee, through monumental digital displays. Presented by Disiva from September 25–27, 2026, the exhibition creates a direct encounter between contemporary art, architecture, technology and the everyday rhythms of the city.
The project brings together two distinct multidisciplinary practices. Medina works across oil painting, sculpture, stained glass, mosaics and digital media, exploring resilience, vulnerability and renewal through the transformation of materials. Ariadna Canaan combines traditional techniques with contemporary photography, multimedia installations and digital experimentation, connecting physical and digital modes of artistic expression.
Conceived beyond the conventional boundaries of galleries and museums, MONUMENTAL VISION explores scale as a means of transforming perception. Images interact with buildings, light, traffic and movement, while audiences encounter the works as part of their everyday experience of Nashville.
The urban screen becomes a temporary exhibition platform: two individual artistic languages amplified within a shared public environment. The street becomes the exhibition space. The screen becomes a contemporary monument.
The project forms part of Disiva’s international 2026 exhibition program, extending contemporary artistic research beyond conventional venues and into the spaces of everyday life.
