Rosalia Pasqualino di Marineo was born and raised among Achromes and Linee, experiencing her family's creative spirit and absorbing the stories her grandmother and mother told about her uncle Piero. In 1996, she began collaborating with the Archivio Manzoni as an assistant. Over the years, she grew not only in age but also in expertise, thanks to her family's trust, her collaborations with highly esteemed figures such as Germano Celant and Flaminio Gualdoni, and her continuous study and research. Consequently, in 2009, she became the director of the Fondazione Piero Manzoni.
Thanks in large part to a truly extraordinary staff, she has been able to curate exhibitions, books, and numerous other initiatives, involving a new generation of researchers in Manzoni studies. She has also explored contemporary ways to communicate Piero Manzoni's art, such as the upcoming new online catalog. She has had the good fortune to meet many people who have inspired new and interesting projects.
